Master of Computer Application (MCA)
Know Your Exam
Admission in Master of Computer Application (MCA) course will be through a national level entrance test conducted by AMU. The course duration is 6 semester.
Eligibility
-
B. Tech. / B. Arch. / B.E. with 55% marks in aggregate or Bachelor Degree in Science from a recognized University with 55% marks in aggregate and must have studied Mathematics along with any two of the following subjects- Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Application, Computer Maintenance, Information Technology as main or subsidiary subject at the qualifying examination.

Must have studied Physics and Mathematics in the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent Course.

Not more than 27 years as on 01st July in the year of admission.
Important Dates
Exam Analysis
There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 Questions with the following breakup:
a) Mathematics and Statistics : 50 Questions
b) Physics : 20 Questions
c) Computer Science : 20 Questions
d) Logical ability, deductive ability and reasoning : 10 Questions
Exam Duration – 2 hrs
Mode of Examination – Offline (OMR based)
Negative Marking - For incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Test Center - The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh (U.P.) only.
